tv ad evaluation

tv ad evaluation I believe in our advert we made what we were promoting really clear and kept it short and simple. The non-diegetic music adds to the sequence of joe eating the magnum and expresses his emotions and opinions on the product. I also believe that the transition cut from when joes without the magnum to when he’s with the magnum very obviously states how he feels much better with it. The use of pathetic fallacy is how we wanted to express the change of emotion so it’s very obvious to the viewers that its better to be with a magnum in our humble opinion. Some of the noticeable problems with our advert is that we made it a little too simple, I wanted the ad to be simple and not too overwhelming however with the very miniscule editing and next to no use of vfx made the advert look a little too cheap and basic for the way I wanted it to be. I also forgot to use a tagline at the end of the advert, I believe this would’ve been a nice way to finish it off. Overall I believe that...

documentary mini task

Introduction What is a documentary? / How would you define ‘documentary’? A documentary is a video footage that provides factual reports on a specific subject, usually using other people to speak of their opinions about the subject. Documentaries are usually set in a format where a guy asks questions and the person in the seat speaks about it, the questionnaire is usually cut out or muted. Some documentaries are more hands on, others are almost portrayed in a movie like way. • Identify the key features of expository documentaries. • Provide your own example of an expository documentary. Expository documentaries typically include voice-over narration, interviews with experts and witnesses, and the use of re-enactments to present a factual and informative account of a particular subject. They often seek to educate the audience and provide a comprehensive overview of the topic being explored. An example of this is the real football factories (2006-) by peter day, this explores real footba...

Pre Production: Creative Elements Story Boards (need print) Treatment Shot Stuff Script Käsereibe Character Appearance (need print) Legalities and Logistics R/A Form Releases (need print) Budgeting and Schedule Here is the final production, It has turned out relatively well when we consider all of the technical difficulties we encountered, for example, all of the audio files ended up not recording properly, but it worked out well as we made it into a piece more focused on the how the music and the actors set the scene, without the use of any vocals. Recording took 1 week longer than expected, but this was made up by the editing time as this took 1 week shorter than expected. The production had turned out a lot differently to what had been in the plans but it still stayed faithful to the message in hand and in some ways may have been improved. We were aware of all the potential risks thanks to the risk assessment, and avoided any sort of danger or harm. We ended ...
